One of the benefits of playing so many styles of music with Emerald Thieves is the huge variety of venues and events we get to play. I mean, last weekend we performed at our good friends' stunner of a wedding party in the South Causey Inn, a sold-out Lockdown Lines fundraising event for Consett Rotary, then finished off with a stomping debut at Crook Hotel...what cracking music pub that is too. We were blown away by the wonderful reception received from three brilliant audiences. Thank you all so much, you really made our whole weekend a special one.
This weekend is again no exception, Emerald Thieves are off to the races! The band have been invited to perform music throughout Irish Day at Thirsk Racecourse. We might even slip in a wee rendition of 'My Lovely Horse'....go on, go on, go on.
